Eric, Lead Operator

Meet Eric Canfield, one of the co-founders of E-Dirt Creations. Eric has been riding bikes his whole life and generally enjoying anything on two wheels. His operating journey began after completing a formal course for heavy machine operation, and then joining the Union of Operating Engineers. He quickly used his passion for moving dirt and running machines to rise up and become a foreman, learning how to run jobs while leading his own crew.

Taking a step back after several years, he decided to follow his love for bikes by beginning construction work with Gravity Logic (GL), one of the leading companies in designing and developing mountain bike parks. Eric has spent many years traveling and working around the US and Trestle Bike Park, both with GL and Trestle trail crew, honing his skills with machines to be able to build high quality, sustainable and safe jumps. With over 20 years of experience and having come from both the commercial dirt-work side and the fun jump building side, he understands the importance of being efficient and reliable so that the job gets done right the first time around.

Currently residing in Colorado, Eric is ready to take the next step in developing a company who treats their clients with the respect they deserve and deliver them the best product possible. Simply put, he wants to help you bring your dirt to life.
